I don’t know if I agree about letting the product be the leader, but everything else about workplace distractions is spot on. I’ve always been a fan of reducing facetime with people, because people are lame. And needy. Much like children. Although I guess children are people in some way, like junior people. Oh look, I’ve been distracted.
