bob costas is the man.

he’s interviewing bush right now during the olympic coverage. it’s pretty clear that bush expected this to be a fluff piece, but bob costas is not backing down. he’s already referred to america “troubled”, to which bush responded “well first of all bob, i don’t think america has any troubles”. now bob’s laying into him about georgia and bush kissing ass with putin.

i knew i loved bob during the ‘92 olympics after the “dream team” absolutely crushed angola. i don’t remember his exact words, but bob basically told us to be careful not to be assholes to the losing teams, as they worked just as hard as anyone else and should be respected for it.

god damn, bush is ready to kill him. bob just asked him if he was going to watch any more sports - bush’s response: “if you ever let me off this set.” they both laughed, but i saw murder in his eyes.
