i checked out the pulse ny show last night and really enjoyed it. lots of installations and 3-d work, it’s a really fun show. i was impressed by how the work pushed boundaries without being cliché weirdo art. if i had lots of money, i would have purchased some work for sure.

i wanted to take some pics but i’m not sure if that’s cool to do at these shows. i’m just getting back into art after a very long hiatus and i’ve forgotten how awkward all the fancy (yet full of shit) art people make me feel. but i do recommend the pulse ny show if you’re in nyc this weekend. just ignore all the skinny people in black drinking $10 flutes of champagne talking about brushstrokes.

hoping to check out volta today, especially since it’s just a few blocks from work.
